After School Tutoring
We are pleased to be able to offer free after school tutoring for children with exceptional needs. Our tutors are volunteers from our local high schools and colleges. They have received training and are excited about helping your child. Our tutoring program provides one-on-one assistance with homework, test preparation, or projects. Our volunteer tutors are not equipped to teach your child how to read or deal with other serious academic deficits.
Any client of the New Vision Autism Center is eligible to attend tutoring sessions. Our sessions are set up on a one-on-one basis, so spots are limited. To register your child on the wait list, please complete the form below and submit it. Students will be selected on a first-come, first-serve basis and based on student need/tutor specialty.
Tutoring hours are Tuesday-Friday from 3-5, or as tutors are available, as this will change frequently.
