We provide free autism/Asperger screenings for children ages 2 and up.

To obtain a screening, you will need to do the following:

• Print and complete the following documents:
• Developmental history
• Client Registration
• Liability Waiver
• Income Verification
• Service Policy

• Provide proof of income at time of appointment. (this is due to our requirement to track income levels because we accept county grant money)

• Call the center and make an appointment. Allow at least an hour to complete the assessment and review the results.

We utilize the M-CHAT for children under 3. For children 3 and over, we use the GARS-2. Both assessments are widely recognized as valid assessment tools by medical and school professionals.

After we have completed the screening, if the results indicate that an autism spectrum disorder is likely, we will refer you to Rady Children’s Hospital or other specialist to obtain a full evaluation.
